JID is a Grammy nominated rapper and singer hailing from Atlanta. He was on his way to becoming a D1 football player with a full scholarship when the universe intervened, causing him to make an artful pivot to music with determination, devotion, and discipline. After stepping firmly into the hip hop arena, the deft lyricist released music independently then through J. Cole’s Dreamville label. He is a member of the Spillage Village collective. In 2022, JID’s career hit what he calls “a boiling point” when he did a feature on Imagine Dragons “Enemy” which became a top 5 Billboard hit.
