Larrance Dopson is a multi-talented Grammy Award-winning producer, instrumentalist, and CEO of 1500 or Nothin. With over 20 years in the music industry, Larrance has earned recognition across various roles, including 4x Grammy Award-winning producer spanning multiple genres (Hip Hop with Kendrick Lamar, Country with Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton, and R&B with Ella Mai). He is also an accomplished instrumentalist, proficient in percussion, drums, keyboards, and bass, as well as a skilled movie scorer, contributing to films like The LEGO Movie, Get Hard, and currently working on The Wizard of Oz remake. Additionally, Larrance has served as musical director for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, Blxst, Gunna, Eladio Carrión, and K-pop sensation Le Sserafim. As the CEO of 1500 or Nothin, he leads one of the industry's most sought-after live bands.


Larrance has had the privilege of shaping the sound of modern music, contributing to some of the industry's biggest hits, such as Roddy Ricch's chart-topping "The Box," Ella Mai's Grammy-winning "Boo'd Up," Nipsey Hussle’s "Dedication," and Sam Smith’s "Pray." His career has led him to collaborate with a wide array of music icons, including Maluma, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Rihanna, Big Sean, and Justin Timberlake, among many others.


Driven by a deep passion for giving back, Larrance is committed to sharing his knowledge and expertise. Alongside James Fauntleroy, he co-founded the 1500 Sound Academy, where they take a hands-on approach to mentoring the next generation of industry leaders, helping to shape the future of music.
