Mobolaji Dawodu is a Costume Designer, Creative Consultant and Fashion Director at large for GQ . He is a global fashion maverick with a perspective that blends the traditional with modern trends. Inspired by a childhood spent between Nigeria and the United States, he has created a sophisticated panoramic view of the world that has noticeably translated into his career. From having styled, street casted, and art directed on projects in over 50 countries, first as the longtime style editor-at-large of The FADER magazine and now at GQ. He has styled a number of the world’s most noteworthy figures, including Brad Pitt, Pharrell Williams, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, and many others. Mobolaji is also a feature film costume designer having worked on the Sundance award-winning film Mother of George, Donald Glover’s Guava Island and Disney's Queen of Katwe and Rise. He has worked on many leading ad campaigns for Apple, Levi’s, Nike and Samsung. Mobolaji is also consultant for numerous brands which include menswear at Missoni. Dawodu currently lives in Brooklyn, New York
